The Institute for Global Health, in coordination with the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and its Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of California, San Francisco invites applications for faculty positions affiliated with the Institute for Global Health. Appointments will be at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor levels in either the Adjunct or In Residence series. Duties: The successful candidates will conduct studies on a variety of global public health topics, including HIV/AIDS prevention, the epidemiology and control of diseases of public health significance and policy-relevant research with a focus on low- and middle-income countries. The successful candidate will teach in both formal and informal settings in her/his areas of expertise. Qualifications: Doctorate (Medicine, Epidemiology, or Public Health preferred) or prior faculty appointment with appropriate academic credentials; experience in global public health and epidemiology; ability to provide the large majority of own salary through extramural funding. Preference will be given to those with additional experience in policy and international development. Experience in international settings preferred.
